Apple has officially revealed its long-rumored entry into the foldable smartphone market, introducing the iPhone Duo.
Moving away from the previously rumored "iPhone Ultra" moniker, the iPhone Duo features a dual-screen design with a 5.5-inch outer cover display that opens into a continuous 7.8-inch inner OLED panel. Powered by Apple’s custom display hinge engineering and lightweight titanium housing, the device runs a specialized build of iOS optimized for split-screen multitasking, side-by-side app execution, and enhanced Apple Intelligence context sharing across both panels. Starting at $1,999, the release represents Apple’s bid to capture the high-end premium segment and redefine multi-screen mobile productivity.
