Apple has officially announced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, introducing significant hardware upgrades centered around an advanced triple-lens camera array and the new A20 Pro chip built on TSMC's latest 2nm node.
The flagship lineup features a variable-aperture 48MP primary sensor, an enhanced 5x optical telephoto lens with improved low-light stabilization, and dedicated spatial video recording capabilities optimized for Vision Pro integration. Powered by the A20 Pro processor, the devices include an expanded 16-core Neural Engine designed to execute complex, multi-modal Apple Intelligence features locally on-device with reduced latency and lower power consumption. The iPhone 18 Pro models will be available for pre-order starting September 11, with in-store availability set for September 18.
