Autonomous aviation startup Poseidon Aerospace has raised $60 million in a Series B funding round as it prepares to execute the maiden uncrewed test flight of its flagship regional cargo aircraft.
Led by Founders Fund with participation from existing aerospace defense investors, the capital injection will support flight-testing operations and FAA certification pathways for Poseidon's remote-piloted cargo platform. Designed to automate short-haul feeder routes between regional distribution hubs, the company's autonomous flight control software aims to reduce operating costs and alleviate widespread commercial pilot shortages across the logistics sector.
